It's outta there

So haven't posted in awhile been a bit of a chaotic emotional few weeks. I(wes) am writing this blog so it wont be as smooth and grammatically correct as your used to hahahah (sry monica)

So as many of you already know kenzi had her surgery. The surgery was very long 17hrs start to finish but it was a success and they were able to remove the tumour which we are thankful for(we will not know for certain if it was a clean remove for a month or so until the pathologist are done inspecting all the edges.)  This is what we have been praying for and waiting for since we started on this crazy stupid road. The surgery ended up being very invasive to say the least which we were hoping it would not be and was kind of a punch to the gut after hearing the tumour was out.  Took a few days to process and wrap our heads around this but we kept coming back to the fact the tumour is gone and this always made us happy. There was a complication with kenzi's arm after the surgery and she had to go back in the same day she finished her big surgery but they are taking care of it although it has required a few extra trips to the operating room we are thankful the surgeons caught it and she should make full recovery from this as well although it could take weeks/months.

As per kenzi norm she is taking everything in stride and kicking A$$. This doesn't come without some emotions but hey I think thats fair. She has been up and walking around and harassing the nurses as per normal. She asked for silly string the other day as she wants to spray the "creepy guy dressed up as a ranger" that plays the ukulele and roams the halls to entertain kids hahaha I am on her side for this idea its not like there gonna kick her out hahah. She definitely back to her mischievous self. She finally was able to get all her tubes out of her chest and is chest tube free for the first time in over a month which is amazing as this gives us way more freedom to cruise around the hospital in the wheelchair and check out different spots  for treats etc..(kenzi scored a doughnut today from the nurses station) They have a sweet froyo (frozen yougurt) machine its all robotic and is fun to watch and we were able to go do that with her today saweeeet!!! Im not gonna lie I am kinda hoping that when her arm is better and she can push herself maybe we can have a race if I can somehow get my hands on one of those bad boys hahahah

Were still not 100% sure when we will be aloud to leave and get out of this concrete jungle and head back to I guess the other smaller concrete jungle in BC but we are hoping possibly in the next week and a half or two weeks if things keep progressing. We can not wait to be closer to family and bring them all down to vancouver to be together again.  It has been 38 days since we left the Linden Ayden and Beckham and it SUCKS!! big time. We are very thankful for everyone that has stepped up to make there lives a little easier while we are gone.

I also want to say thanks all those that stepped up and offered to help my company out over the last 7months it was greatly appreciated I know my employee is also very thankful. I had single people offer me there time and other Lawn care and landscaping companies in town offer up there employees and equipment over the entire year and I am forever thankful for that.

We have felt God throughout this journey and I will say there have definitely been times where we questioned or were not at all happy with some of the ways he directed things. But just because we want it one way doesn't mean we are going to get it that way. I  personally see how easy it is to question God daily when we dont get exactly what we want even when the outcome is good but not to how we wanted it, and how easily we forget to thank him everyday we have nothing go wrong. Something I will be working on moving forward with my life and I hope and pray you will all do the same.  We do know one thing though he is going to carry us through till the end even if the outcome is not exactly what we wanted we know he has planned every step out to work to his glory.

Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord will personally

go ahead of you. He will be with you he will neither fail you or abandon you

                                        Deut 31:8
